PRAYER REQUEST
Dear Friends,
thank you so much for all the wonderful emails of prayer and encouragement during this time in our lives where we know God is in control and see the hearts of His people.
As of right now, my mom is home with hospice. Last week I was blessed to see her and be by her side. Of all the years I look back at, the best were then. I sat for hours just looking into her eyes and her looking at me. A wink and a smile spoke volumes and I knew she was proud of me for being with her.
Thank you all for your prayers and please allow me to leave you with this one note (among many) from a young girl in Beaumont, TX that has it all summed up the right way.
"Have faith no matter what happens, and I hope your mom gets better & hope you know we will pray 4 you and your family. "
God bless you and yours and thank you again for all your notes, support and prayers.
Dear Awana Pastors and Leaders,
Below is an update on Natalie that I think you will enjoy reading and sharing with your leaders and kids as well as a few great ideas for your Awana Year End Ceremony.
For the past several weeks I have been traveling I have traveled to Grapeland, Conroe, Pearland, Katy, west Houston, Copperfield, Cypress, Rosharon and even my own backyard Magnolia helping churches start Awana and visit clubbers for large group time.
One thing I see that makes me love my work even more, is how kids and families are hungry for the gospel. I see in the children's eyes that they know Christ because of their handbooks and Bibles and they are eager to know Him in a personal way. One church told me that they have baptized 15 kids who come to their Awana ministry and all of the kids families have joined the church.
I had a Commander share with me that their church would be dead without Awana.
Keep up the great work, you are a blessing to many.
Joyfully Serving Him,

Natalie Update
I have great news concerning Natalie. As parents we want the best and we want it now. For months you and I have been praying for a complete recovery and that Natalie with continue to be a bright light of hope in her surroundings.
Last week Natalie started her intern at the same rehab she was in for six week. When the day was over, her leader said "Natalie, have you put in an application here?" Natalie replied, No. She then told her to get on the ball and fill out that app.
I love how God works in mysterious ways. The same girl that was unable to finish therapy because of insurance, is getting to coach and use the same equipment that she first learned how to walk and use her arm on.
God is good, even thought we hesitate or doubt. Thank you for your prayers and keep praying, it works!

SUPPORT
Please consider adding me to your missions each month. I could use your help in reaching Southeast Texas with the Awana ministry and ultimately reaching boys and girls, family and friends with the gospel of Christ. Allow me to do the driving, encouraging, visiting, sharing the gospel and you do the praying and support. Together was are the hands and feet of Jesus. Attached is a support form to be a part of something very big in Texas. Thank you and may God richly bless you.
