Congratulations!

Earning a Citation Award is the greatest achievement that Awana offers.  A very select few commit to 10 years of dedication and perseverance to obtain theCitation.  The Texas Missionaries would like to celebrate your achievement at the Texas State Championship.  To make this celebration extraordinary, we are asking you fill out some quick information about yourself, and send quick pics for the power-point presentation.

The Awana Prayer states: that children and youth throughout the world would come to Know, Love and Serve, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Whether or not you know it, your Texas Missionary and Texas Ministry Team Partners have been praying these three things over your life for years.  At this time, we are asking that you share with us simple ways that you Know, Love, or Serve Jesus Christ - in or out of Awana Clubs.  This may be present, past, or future.  Also, if you have future plans that you'd like to announce (like college aspirations), you may provide this optional information.  Finally, we are requesting that you send in 3 pictures: 1 as a younger clubber, 2) your senior portrait - or current picture, 3) a candid picture of your club/friends - past present or future. (please use your discretion!)

Below is a sample of what we are looking for.  Please note that the answers can be brief if they include enough information.

Know Jesus Christ:  What is one thing that you KNOW about Jesus Christ or want to KNOW about Jesus?  SAMPLE  i.e. I KNOW that God is Eternal because when our home burned down, He kept me focused on what is eternal, not temporary.  or i.e. I KNOW about Jesus because my parents live their life showing me who He is every day. or i.e. Because I want to KNOW more about Jesus, I hope to go to Seminary one day.

Love Jesus Christ: What have you learned about the LOVE of Jesus Christ?  SAMPLE  i.e. When working with the homeless, I learned that God LOVES all people.  or i.e. I've KNOWN about Jesus all my life, but I learned to LOVE Him at Camp, or from Mr. X in my church.

Serve Jesus Christ:  How do you SERVE Jesus Christ or how do you want to SERVE Jesus Christ in the future?  SAMPLE i.e. I want to SERVE Jesus Christ by working on the Technology Team at my church.  or i.e. I like to SERVE Jesus by serving in Sparks for the last 5 years.
