2013 Trek/Journey State Championships
 

Missionaries Note: After searching for over six months to find a facility for the fourth Trek/Journey State Championships in Austin, we have been unable to find a facility that is large enough, cost effective, and available on the needed dates. We've tried nearly every college, school district, large church, sports complex, and university in the area to no avail. After much prayer and discussion and with churches needing a date to plan, the Texas Missionaries have decided to offer two smaller regional events for the 2013 year, one in North Texas and another in South Texas. The regional events will be similar to the last three state events, though a slightly smaller scale. Our plan is to resume the State event in 2014, hoping that the additional year will enable us to find a proper facility for the event. 

Churches may choose which event they would like to participate, though some of the specific details may vary between the two events. For information regarding the North Texas event, contact Taylor Lassiter at TaylorL@awana.org. For the South Texas event, contact Doug Rolando at DougR@awana.org.
