Ministry Needs - Wednesday, April 18, 2012

Please help keep the North East Texas Awana ministry going

Do any of your Awana clubbers participate in 4H clubs, raise livestock, or farm land? How many would love to raise an animal or a crop to help support their Awana Missionaries? If you would like to know more about this wonderful opportunity please let me know.

Many Awana leaders and pastors assume that we are paid by Awana International to serve the churches in North Texas. That just simply is not true. Our ONLY means of financial support comes from churches and individuals within our region and it is a full time ministry.

We are currently experiencing a severe shortfall and have had to make cutbacks in our ministry and staff to try and get our account back into the black. Please pray about becoming part of our support team through monthly donations to our account. For more information please view the "read more..." link below.

AwanaKnow NETwork email list is BACK! - Friday, October 08, 2010

Join the AwanaKnow NETwork email list if you wanna know what's going on in North East Texas Awana Clubs!

Just click here or use the box at the bottom right-hand side of this page.

I don’t plan to flood your email with a bunch of messages that you probably don’t have time to read anyway, but I do see a need for me to be able to communicate with just the Awana leaders and church staff in the 18 counties that are my primary area of ministry. My goal is to have at least one person in each church signed up for this list. It would be great if EVERY leader was on the list.

I promise that I will not give these email addresses to anyone else and that the messages I send will only be about things related to the Awana ministry here in N.E. Texas or other items that I know will help you in your Awana ministry.

If you have other Awana leaders in your church who you would like to have added to the AwanaKnow NETwork just have them send me an email stating that desire. They can use the box at the bottom right-hand side of this page or the link at the top of this article.

Anniversary: 6/25/1976

Please pray for us as we help churches in North Texas reach boys and girls for Christ.

Kelvin and Sandra are faith support missionaries, entirely dependent upon the Lord to supply their needs through His people. They do not receive any commission, percentage, or salary from Awana Clubs International. Awana handles their ministry finances, and returns the gifts to them according to the needs of their family and ministry expenses in order to give them the greatest tax advantage and maintain IRS requirements.

Of the gifts designated to their ministry, 90% goes into local ministry needs. Their salary level and housing allowance is set annually by the Awana Board of Directors and is paid from this account. Please pray about becoming part of our support team and help us to help others reach children and youth for Christ.
